Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Analyst, Sourcing - Individual Contributor. Based in Sandy Spring, GA, you will be required to manage supply and production planning processes in a fast-paced environment. You will be interacting daily with suppliers and internal teams to align procurement needs and conduct weekly planning reviews. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a steady supply of finished goods and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities and issue purchase orders (POs)

• Align procurement and supply strategies with supply planning, production scheduling, quality assurance, and sourcing teams

• Oversee end-to-end supply planning and management from both internal and external vendors

• Collaborate with suppliers, commercial teams, and Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance to ensure an effective supply process

• Adjust procurement requirements and inventory levels as needed

• Develop and manage supply plans to align with production schedules and demand forecasts

• Assess the impact of supply constraints and adjust to meet customer expectations while minimizing cash outflow and mitigating risks related to excess or obsolete inventory

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilization, Back Order, and Lead Time

• Apply best practices in supply chain management and sourcing

• Handle and resolve product availability issues

Requirements

• Proficiency in office functions and planning processes

• Experience in materials handling and supply chain logistics

• Knowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing strategies

• Capability to manage partnerships with suppliers and external vendors

• Ability to handle cash activity and financial transactions

• Understanding of regulations related to sourcing and procurement

• Experience in using software for end-to-end supply chain management

• Ability to manage and coordinate with internal teams

• Experience in production schedule planning and implementation

• Proficiency in KPI reporting and quality assurance processes

• Understanding of mitigation strategies in sourcing and procurement

• Ability to implement upgrades and use cases for sourcing processes

• Ability to drive sourcing strategies in line with best practices

• Experience with risk mitigation in sourcing and procurement processes

• Familiarity with 'Go' programming language or similar software.
