The Data Engineer will be a pivotal member of the supply chain team, dedicated to optimizing data management and analytics to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. This role demands a combination of technical prowess, business insight, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support supply chain analytics and reporting.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, data scientists, and IT, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data sources and systems.

  • Implement and optimize data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architecture, and workflows.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and supply chain management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in the supply chain or logistics industry.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
