Description

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

Maintain accurate financial records by updating and reconciling accounts

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

Reconcile balance sheets, bank statements, and other accounts

Prepare and post accruals, prepaids, and depreciation entries

Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices

Monitor accounts receivable, generate invoices, and assist with collections

Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal review

Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory submissions

Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1-3 years of accounting experience preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external auditors
