American Express is looking for an impactful Executive Assistant to support the Global Head of Commercial Rating and Underwriting (CRU), which is part of the Credit & Fraud Risk organization. This Vice President leader is based in Sandy, Utah and has teams in New York, Phoenix, London, Singapore, Sydney, and India. The role will also support one of the leader's Vice Presidents who leads the Americas team.

How will you make an impact in this role?

You must be capable of handling a wide range of administrative tasks, while working independently. Understanding the prioritization of requests, building positive relationships, and being able to navigate large, complex organizations fluidly will be crucial for success in this role. You will interface and work with several other Executive Assistants within American Express, and in some cases, senior-level leaders. The candidate must use considerable discretion, independent discernment, and be able to multitask.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Highly organized with ability to demonstrate keen attention to detail, prioritization, adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness, efficiency, and follow up

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency and accuracy even while under pressure

  • Demonstrated ability to act diplomatically and respectfully when communicating with key internal and external customers and individuals of varying levels

  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion

  • Strong work ethic, highly self-motivated, with willingness to take direction

  • Ability to be dedicated and take initiative to anticipate needs

  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills

  • Friendly demeanor with ultra-positive and infectious attitude

  • Strong MS Office experience: PowerPoint, Excel, Work, Outlook

  • Requires a high school diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Concur, Ariba, and various other administrative tools

  • College degree

  • Minimum of 3 years of full time work experience with strong references

Qualifications

Salary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly bonus benefits
