Job Title: 2nd & 3rd Shift CNC Machinist

Job Description

Seeking CNC Machinists for 2nd & 3rd shift at our large machine shop in Santa Ana, CA. This role offers a competitive hourly rate between $25-$35, with overtime opportunities. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines to support our production-paced environment.

Hard Skills

• CNC Lathe/Mill operation

• Setup of CNC lathes and mills

• Work from blueprints and job routings

• Ability to hold close tolerances

• Inspection of parts to print (dimensional and visual)

• Computer skills for program transfer to CNC machines

Soft Skills

• Ability to maintain and update procedures

• Training and mentoring less experienced machinists

• Multi-tasking capabilities for running multiple machines

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Santa Ana, California.

Work Environment

Large machine shop with approximately 50 staff members, spread across three different buildings each dedicated to various production processes. The positions available are for the 3rd shift, which operates from 9:00pm to 5:30am.
