Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to support the County of Orange. This individual will provide services support for a large enterprise network of close to 140 sites. Manage major application and site move and build projects in coordination with the team and the project manager. Assist the Network Analyst with creation of Network related reports, setting of network monitor thresholds and general oversight of the network health. Respond to operational requests day to day and act as the second level of escalation for incident resolution. Working closely with the Network Architect, review new technologies and standards and assist with the development of SOP's, runbooks, and other Operational resources for the Network team. Report regular status of projects and operational issues to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM). This is a hybrid role that requires an individual to go on-site in Santa Ana 3 days a week specifically Mondays.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience on network & cyber network

Routing and Switching

Strong experience with Cisco Systems network and datacenter products

Desired knowledge of at least 2 out of 3 of these technologies: ACI, SD-Wan, SD-Access Knowledge with Cisco ISE

Ability to present very complex technical concepts in understandable language

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Network

Experience creating and presenting project plans and designs null
