Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Santa Barbara, California. This role involves processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and handling client inquiries. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will also monitor client accounts and take necessary actions. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing client invoices

• Maintaining precise records of client invoices

• Efficiently handling client inquiries related to their accounts

• Monitoring client accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary

• Entering invoice information into the accounting system with precision

• Ensuring accuracy while entering data into the system

• Tracking the process of invoices

• Reviewing timesheets for accuracy

• Utilizing accounting software systems effectively

• Using Office Suite and Excel for various accounting functions. Requirements • Job title: Accounts Payable Specialist

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Account Coding

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Ability to use Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles

• Auditing skills

• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations
