A Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs with the buildings inhabitants. Only Santa Barbara Or Goleta candidates!!!!!

Note: The pay rate for this job is $32 - $36 / hour.

Responsibilities:

• Fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring.

• Inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards.

• Scheduling major repairs with the building?s inhabitants.

• Ensuring machinery, equipment, and structures are in proper working order.

• Performing preventative Maintenace and tests on systems and components.

 Qualifications:

• OSHA-10 Certification preferred (we offer complimentary training if needed)

• Ability to efficiently bend pipe

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Must own tools of the trade

• Reliable transportation to get to and from multiple locations

• Electrical Technician Certification is preferred or Journey Level California License
