General Summary:

Digital design and implementation in WiFi MAC team: The candidate is responsible for design/development of wireless MAC subsystem blocks. The candidate will be responsible to generate detailed micro-architecture technical specifications from Architectural/IEEE spec and systems requirements and deliver the design and work closely with verification team to develop verification plans and actively participate in debug phase. The candidate will work hands-on and own their design through the full ASIC development process from specification, RTL implementation design, coding, verification, synthesis timing closure, emulation and post silicon bring up.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4+ years of ASIC design or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of ASIC design or related work experience.

ASIC front end development and must have delivered complex ASICs from functional spec to final product.

Hardware description languages (Verilog, System Verilog), Logic Design, RTL coding, debugging skills.

Implementation of custom designs from scratch based on high-level protocol spec

Pre-silicon and post silicon validation of ASIC designs

Knowledge of: 802.11(Wireless LAN) MAC, 802.3(Ethernet) or similar protocols

High performance bus interfaces such as AXI and AHB

Cross-functional experience interacting with software, verification, and physical design teams.

Pay range:

$134,500.00 - $215,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
