Applied Materials Executive Assistant in Santa Clara, California

The Executive Admin Support role is based at our Santa Clara, Calif. office. This is an onsite role (no remote or hybrid opportunity). No relocation assistance available for this role. Successful candidate will have at least TEN (10) years' experience as an Executive Administrative (or similar role).

Key Responsibilities

  • Uses extensive knowledge of the Executive's priorities and business practices to directly respond to daily issues/requests as authorized.

  • Maintains individual calendars (electronic) and with little Executive input schedules/re-schedules appointments and meetings, using knowledge and judgment of the Executives priorities and business practices/procedures.

  • Will be responsible for the design, planning, coordination and implementation of large events, for the business unit. Capability and experience to plan events from start to finish, independently with little direction.

  • Routinely executes special research with a variety of difficulties or continuous research and data analysis tasks and prepares reports/recommendations.

  • Collects and prepares information for Executive Officer, CEO or President to use in discussions/meetings with executive staff and outside individuals with limited supervision.

  • Makes high level contacts of a complex nature inside and outside the company with limited supervision.

  • Receives, organizes, distributes and organizes daily mail, and immediately deals with issues/requests on behalf of the Executive Officer, CEO or President (as authorized), including decisions to delegate correspondence for others to reply.

  • Drafts correspondence on behalf of the Executive Officer, CEO or President and replies personally to some correspondence as authorized.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

U.S. Salary Range:

$100,000.00 - $137,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
