Nvidia Manager, Supplier Quality Engineering in Santa Clara, California

NVIDIA is seeking a talented and experienced Manager, Supplier Quality Engineering to join our SQE team. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the highest quality of memory. As a Manager of Supplier Quality Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work closely with NVIDIA's memory suppliers to develop and implement outstanding memory quality programs. Your primary responsibility will be to represent NVIDIA's memory quality interests, collaborating with internal teams to improve the quality, reliability, and performance of memory products. You'll work with teams such as hardware engineering, product engineering, product quality engineering, package engineering, memory technical marketing, and commodity management to drive improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the quality performance of memory suppliers and driving continuous quality improvement actions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible to lead end-to-end memory quality and reliability efforts.

  • Work closely with memory suppliers and internal teams to ensure new memory products are ready and meet key quality and reliability metrics.

  • Collaborate with engineering organizations to resolve memory failures, lead Product Change Notifications, provide risk assessments for proposed changes, and represent supplier's changes in CRB/MRB meetings.

  • Lead quality audits to ensure supplier quality practices.

What we need to see:

  • MS or BS in engineering or equivalent experience. 8+ years of relevant experience and 4+ years of management experience in the memory industry

  • Professional knowledge of DRAM operation and understanding key AC/DC parameters in datasheet

  • A strong understanding of memory wafer fab processes, package assembly processes, testing, and firmware are also required.

  • In-depth knowledge of memory quality and reliability concepts and theory.

  • Familiar with physical Failure Analysis techniques such as C-SAM, SEM, TEM, FTIR, ASE, and Hot Spot Analysis

  • Supplier quality management experience and a deep understanding of problem-solving tools including 8D principle and statistical process control principles

  • Experience with data analysis using Excel, Minitab, or JMP

  • Proficiency in English for both written and spoken and excellent communication skills are required.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Strong quality engineering and direct memory supplier quality managing experience

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in HBM and LPDDR quality improvement and failure analysis

  • Comprehensive knowledge of CoWoS process

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 258,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
