Insight Global NPI Program Manager (Hardware) in Santa Clara, California

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Program Manager in Santa Clara. The Program Manager will be responsible for working through the full product life cycle, from design to NPI, including all testing and manufacturing engagements. This PM will also be tasked with working cross-functionally with contract manufacturers to ensure hardware development is on time for project deadlines. Roughly 75% of your time working in the NPI process and 25% in Manufacturing. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a cross-functional team from HW, SW, Validation, and Diagnostic engineering, manufacturing, product management, and customer support to deliver outstanding products to the market.

  • Create a master schedule that captures and inter-connects the key functional deliverables as defined by the product development lifecycle and ensure the team delivers. Drive and lead development milestone checkpoints.

  • Drive, coordinate, and monitor Engineering programs including scheduling, planning, product and project cost analysis, early access, & first customer shipment.

  • Drive cross-functional issue resolution ensuring issues are identified, owned, and resolved. Ensure issues are escalated to the appropriate functional leaders.

This role can pay between $55-$64/hour depending on skillset and years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years of experience as an NPI Program Manager

-Experience delivering hardware programs (preferably from cradle to grave) -Experience with physical networking products (routers/switches/servers)

-Coming from a technical engineering background

-Delivering a hardware program from cradle to grave

-Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CM) or ODMs null
