Nvidia Physical Security Network Architect in Santa Clara, California

NVIDIA is looking for a hardworking Physical Security Network Architect with direct, global experience to ensure the functionality of our enterprise-wide security systems, controls, platforms, and technology. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Primary solutions architect for Global Security systems and technology, to include the design, configuration, installation, integration, maintenance, and administration of infrastructure systems, platforms, and applications across the globe

  • Lead advanced solutions for issues within the physical security ecosystem, to include metadata-based replication and replication servers

  • Assist with the creation and development of physical security system architecture standards for hardware, integration, monitoring, installation, acceptance, and documentation

  • Curate relationships with industry peers, vendors, and key public agencies worldwide to keep ahead of industry threats and technology advancements

  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to ensure efficient performance and reliability

  • Oversee convergence efforts with Information Security to identify real world threats to our systems

  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal staff on security system operation and maintenance

  • Responsible for small custom applications which integrate with non-physical security and other Information Technology systems and platforms

What We Need To See:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Electrical Engineering

  • 10+ overall years in a similar role within a multinational corporation

  • Knowledge of front-end development and ability to build and manage web pages and utilities

  • Experience designing entire systems as a solution architect, including servers, databases, physical end points, etc.

  • Proficiency in one or more scripting and/or programming languages (Python, Ruby, C#, Java, etc.)

  • Knowledge of AI technologies pertaining to security systems

  • Hands-on experience with database migration, modification, and troubleshooting (MSSQL, SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

  • Development and upgrade of new applications and scripts

  • Leading and performing global systems migrations and integrations

  • Certifications or meaningful experience with multiple security systems (Lenel, C-CURE, Genetec, Milestone, Vidsys, etc.).

  • Effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail

The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 253,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
