Are you passionate about marketing productivity and the use of technology to improve processes and content? Do you have deep experience in program and project management using a variety of methodologies and technologies? Would you like to help build the future of Product Marketing excellence at Amazon Web Services (AWS)?

Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to optimize costs, become more agile, and innovate faster. The Messaging Center of Excellence in the AWS Product Marketing organization is seeking an experienced, self-directed program manager to develop and execute a marketing messaging tools strategy (inclusive of generative AI tools) that supports streamlining and optimizing the management of content repositories, messaging, and communication processes within the PMM organization, to increase consistency, usage, and discoverability of priority messaging while simplifying content distribution and reducing content proliferation.

As the ideal candidate, you will have experience with field and/or marketing enablement methodology, technology infrastructure and the integration of generative AI tools to improve content creation and messaging distribution. You will have demonstrated the ability to build processes that assist in building consistent and effective communication with a target internal audience, such as field sellers and marketers, that improves engagement with, and usage of, priority content and messaging. To be successful in this position, you need to partner with key stakeholders across the organization and be curious and comfortable diving deep into the business challenges to understand and identify insights that will enable us to deliver results quickly.

You will collaborate across multiple internal tools teams, and field and marketing stakeholders to;

• build and execute roadmaps to streamline content repositories and increase automation of messaging pull through from source documents (i.e. messaging frameworks) to derivative content (i.e. service description cards, eBooks, first call decks, etc.).

• automate processes through technology to increase engagement by the field and marketing community with priority product marketing messaging through the improved discoverability and promotion of messaging content.

• establish mechanisms that identify and auto-deprecate outdated content

• build mechanisms that streamline and accelerate timely communication to the field and marketing teams about important messaging announcements and events.

• analyze and report on technology tools performance and adoption to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technology trends and best practices, and apply them to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

• ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

A day in the life

• You will regularly engage multiple technology tools teams and functional workstream owners to identify mechanisms and use of technology that improves scale and automation of repeatable processes.

• You will work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams to build and manage programs that have cross-functional and cross-organization impact, including management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and rationalization of risk and critical path management. You will use your domain expertise and experience to implement repeatable processes and driving automation and standardization to streamline workstreams and deliverables.

• You will become a power user of technology tools relevant to the MCOE to identify capability gaps and make recommendations on driving continuous improvement.
