Job Description

The Princess Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid (remote) summer internship opportunity designed to provide exposure and insight to professional careers in the amazing leisure travel, cruise industry. The selected interns will work on departmental projects as well as participate in professional development and enrichment activities.

Essential Functions

  • Supports both the Paid Media and Social Media teams.

  • Trend Spotting and Pitching: being aware of social media trends and how they can be applied to content we produce and publish on our organic social channels.

  • YouTube Content Audit: taking stock of our YouTube channel and how it can be better optimized for SEO and current content related to Princess. Ensures consistency of content, titles, and descriptions as well as the proposing of new content.

  • General Paid Media Team Support: Works with the paid media team to deploy creative in the paid media space, helping write creative briefs, interfacing with media agency, etc.

  • General Organic Social Team Support: Works with the organic social team for the day-to-day efforts of organic social and influencer marketing – making sure content is approved, working with the creative agencies, writing post copy, etc. Keeps the teams in the know about emerging trends in organic media and new executions in paid media.

  • Team Admin: scheduling meetings, taking notes, working through approvals with internal and external teams on content.

  • Reporting: pulling paid media reports, creative reports, sentiment reports.

  • Auditing: being aware of the paid media and organic social landscape and helping to audit existing content to be more current.

  • Spearheads content initiatives and creative executions within paid social platforms, high impact display media, video, paid search and more.

  • Assists with social media listening and actively monitors user-generated content, ensuring we stay engaged with our community.

2025 Program Dates

  • Program runs 10 weeks from June 9th - August 18th

Eligibility

  • Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) or in a graduate/Ph.D. program and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2025.

Compensation

  • Undergraduate - $25.00/hr, Graduate - $35.00/hr, Ph.D. - $45.00/hr

Requirements

  • Proficiency using MS office Suite including Outlook & MS Teams

  • Ability to work independently, remotely and self-manage

  • Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.

  • The types of duties the students will perform will vary and may require some technical tasks, projects and/or work that may require specific proficiencies, technical abilities and/or computer skills.

Majors Preferred

  • Marketing, Media, Communications

Skills Preferred

  • Photoshop and/or Canva proficiency

  • Copywriting chops for organic social

  • Great research skills.

  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

  • Strong spirit of collaboration.
