Job Title: Traveling State Certified Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
A solar journeyman electrician installs, maintains, and repairs solar panels and related equipment. Responsibilities include:
Installation : Planning and installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Connection : Connecting solar panels, inverters, and other high-voltage equipment to the building's power supply
Maintenance : Performing maintenance checks and troubleshooting system problems
Repair : Repairing or replacing PV-related wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Testing : Testing PV electrical systems and continuity of circuits
Compliance : Ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes
This position requires travel 80-100% of the time. Work will be scattered throughout California, you must be comfortable traveling and being in a hotel Monday-Friday on the road.

Being able to lift 50 lbs
Being comfortable on a ladder
Having a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Enjoying working outside in all weather conditions
Being reliable and having good transportation
Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance
Essential Skills
Experience with solar installations
State Certified Journeyman License - REQUIRED
Reliable transportation for commuting to different jobsites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous solar experience is preferred but not required
Mechanical technician skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00
