Description

Robert Half is seeking an Technical Project Manager on a consulting basis.

Information Technology (IT) Project Manager:

Major responsibilities include serving as the subject matter expert (SME) support on Information Technology (IT) projects and the establishment of processes and standards. Responsibilities include collaboration and technical guidance on projects across the organization, work closely with all key stakeholders in alignment with the organization's vision and mission.

The technical project manager will be responsible for planning technical baselines, executing scope within budget, and providing routine progress reports to stakeholders on goals and requirements. This includes tasking, scheduling, planning, coordination, meeting milestones/deliverables and managing resources identified by stakeholders.

Will also work closely with leadership, Project Managers, Stakeholders, representatives and others as needed.

Requirements

The successful Technical Project Manager will have:

Proven track record of IT Project Management.

Knowledge of Infrastructure architecture and managing infrastructure related projects.

PMP and/or Bachelors degree is preferred.

Technical Experience:

•Demonstrated technical experience with best practices, standards, and principles. for Project Management.

•Demonstrated IT experience and expert skills with various project management tools.

Collaboration & Teaming:

•Demonstrated experience coordinating and working with various teams and provide significant technical solutions with clear and concise technical guidance and reporting capabilities.

•Proven record of teaming, conflict resolution, and a demonstrated track record of accomplishing technical tasks, while working independently or within a team environment.

Communication:

•Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, public speaking, presenting briefings to stakeholders and external entities

•Expertise in presenting highly complex technical information to a non-technical audience in and understandable format, as well as to technical experts in appropriate detail.

Desired Qualifications

•Demonstrated IT expert-level experience in Technical Project processes. Strong understanding of the project lifecycle management. Mentoring others, and a demonstrated record of building collaboration and a results-oriented track record.
