Responsibilities

About this Position:

In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) functions as a supervisor that works collaboratively and uses independent judgment to provide high quality care by assuring appropriate staffing on a shift basis or more as indicated by patient acuity and census. Is accountable for unit operations, supervision, staff development, patient care delivery and clinical outcomes. The NICU ANM, nurse supervisor will not be assigned direct patient care responsibilities but shall have 24-hour responsibility for: 1. Direct supervision of all clinical personnel who provide patient care; 2. the day-to-day coordination of and quality of clinical nursing care of patients in the NICU.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with three (3)years of work experience, one year of which shall have been in a facility with an NICU that is equivalent to a Regional or Community NICU.

  • Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in the state of California

  • BSN or equivalent experience.

  • Current CPR/BLS

  • NRP certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Greater than 5 years of experience

  • NICU certification

  • Masters degree

Pay Range

$48.25 - $70.78 /hour
