UCLA Health Office Coordinator, Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica, California

The Rape Treatment Center is an internationally recognized, model program that provides free, comprehensive medical, psychological and legal services for victims of sexual assault and child sexual abuse, together with extensive outreach and prevention education programs. Our Office Coordinator plays an important part in helping us bring wholeness and healing to survivors of sexual assault and abuse.

With guidance from the Office Manager, the Office Coordinator:

  • Assists with managing the Rape Treatment Center's (RTC) facilities, including maintenance, upgrades, and repair needs.

  • Ensures that operational documentation and procedures are compliant with UCLA rules and RTC standards.

  • Works on special projects and provides primary backup for the front office.

  • Is responsible for leading the work of the RTC Receptionist and AA-3, as part of the office management team.

  • Provides support to the RTC's Paralegal and Legal Counsel.

The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is: $38.19 - $57.90 Hourly

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of administrative work experience.

  • Experience as a team lead.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of administrative functions, standard office procedures and business practices.

  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to establish collaborative working relationships and work effectively with people of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and relate effectively with individuals at various levels and with the public.

  • Ability to work within designated project schedules and timelines; while maintaining excellent quality standards in a high volume environment.

  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness to work in a team environment where no task is too large or too small.

Bachelor's Degree, and experience with design and/or knowledge of print/digital materials production is strongly preferred.
