Job Summary

As a Senior Product Manager II, within the Ad Platform technology team at DMED, you will be responsible for establishing the strategy and drive execution to establish the future of The Walt Disney Company’s customer-facing advertising platform: Disney Campaign Manager. In doing so, you will be introducing transformational technology to the Connected TV (CTV) advertising industry. The right person for this role can identify business value, solve complex problems, concisely articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ultimately drive results. What You'll Do

  • Drive product definition, strategy, and features across our proprietary customer-facing advertising platform

  • Own product roadmap and delivery execution of advertising initiatives, aligning stakeholders and driving results

  • Responsible for product prioritization, including value identification, cost savings and progress against the broader business strategy

  • Work backwards from users to abstract form from substance and author clear functional requirements in close partnership with engineering teams.

  • Partner with our UX/UI design teams to build the next generation of our internal demand management platform

  • Maintain expected standards across the team for product specifications, backlog health, and consumable user stories for engineering partners

  • Product owner for a Scrum team by participating agile ceremonies, responsible for prioritization, backlog refinement, and feature definition

  • Hold a deep compassion for our users, and creatively tackle problems with a viewer-first mentality

  • Evaluate and recommend investments to maximize the financial results of the product portfolio

  • Collaborate with other product managers to drive innovation across our ad products including but not limited to ad serving, campaign management, order management, measurement, creative management, and reporting.

  • Enumerate and identify clear business critical metrics for setting annualized objectives and partnering with GTM and financial planning to meet them

  • Partner with Engineering and Program Management organizations to execute against the product roadmap, delivering on the needs of the business

What to Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology or business domains

  • 7+ years of product management or equivalent experience

  • Highly logical, truth-seeker able to problem solve through data and clear rationale

  • Ability to harness creative ideation alongside pragmatic prioritization and execution sequencing

  • Unwavering bias for execution and impeccable follow-through

  • Proven success in a product role with the ability to demonstrate a record of delivery and excellence.

  • Track record partnering with UX Designers to deliver highly efficient and scalable experiences.

  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a fluid environment across a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Domain expertise and problem solving around self-service advertising preferred

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY and Seattle, WA is $156,300 to $209,600 per year, in Los Angeles, CA and Bristol, CT is $149,300 to $200,200 per year, in San Francisco, CA is $163,500 to $219,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
