Commander, Navy Installations SUPERVISORY SECURITY ASSISTANT in Santa Rita, Guam

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY ASSISTANT in the Force Protection of NAVBASE GUAM FORCE PROTECTION. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the planning, assigning and reviewing of current procedures to be used by subordinate personnel. You will develop schedules for daily operations, planned special events/projects, and develops goals and objectives and continual training criteria for assigned personnel. You will be responsible for liaison with various representatives of the government, civilian workforce and private contractors for the purpose of coordinating special access control requirements, and special projects as necessary. You will enforce strict installation access control policies and when working with civilian and military personnel of all status and rank, must make sound decisions and use tact and diplomacy in resolving installation access issues. You will respond to routine and non-technical requests for information such as status of reports, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance, and similar information readily available from files. You will prepare and maintain a variety of Visitor Control Center (VCC) security support documents and records, provides customer service support at the VCC. You will provide supervisory controls over all security assistant personnel who provide VCC customer service and also has direct input into the development and delivery of VCC services at the installation where assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) develops changes to position descriptions, reviews task analysis performance standards and completes employee job performance appraisals and evaluations. 2) processing access control transactions with both military and civilians of all ranks and grades.
