Responsibilities: * Ground maintenance (parks and historic sites), Painting of stand- alone objects/items (benches, signs, containers). * Assist with minor interior/ exterior repairs, and custodial projects. * Cleaning picnic tables and concrete pads, Restrooms (floors, wall, toilets, urinals, mirrors, sinks and drinking fountains.) * Check and replenish paper products and soap. * Visually check lights, pumps, furnace, and water heaters, (report and irregularities to supervisor) sort and inventory various materials. * Assist with clerical duties. * Act as assistants for state DOT workers, using self-skills to completing facility repairs. Report vandalism. (Greenthumbers should NOT take any action themselves.)
* Assist DOT with tasks within the written limitations of the Green Thumb program.
