SUMMARY:
Joining the ATC team as a Sales/Producer trainee offers a challenging, dynamic, and innovative environment. This role is tailored to individuals who are seeking a long-term developmental sales-oriented career path. Upon hire, candidates will undergo a yearlong comprehensive training program spending approximately two months in each of the following departments: Commercial Lending, Retail Banking, Wealth Management, our Amsure insurance division, and Residential Lending.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Participate in training programs to gain a thorough understanding of banking and insurance products, services, and sales techniques.
- Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the community.
- Support the sales team in promoting and selling banking products and services.
- May conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their financial needs.
- May assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the bank and/or insurance division.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Communications Skills: the ability to anticipate the needs of customers and upper-level management; think and act calmly, logically, and rapidly under stress; express concerns, ideas, suggestions, and criticism clearly and succinctly to management; be able to effectively listen to and assist customers.
Leadership Skills: the ability to perform a job without detailed instructions; be successful in working independently with limited guidance; begin and follow through with a plan or task.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must possess a four-year degree.
Must be well organized and detail oriented. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, etc. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from others.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract variables. Excellent analytical skills.

The Financial Planning Assistant will work in a clean, well-lit office building.
The nature of their work may require them to sit, stand, reach, bend, hear, speak, and read documents for long periods of time. Applicants must have manual dexterity to operate various office machines essential to the job and be willing to perform all of the job necessary functions.
