What will I do as an RN Supervisor for The Wesley Community?
Maintaining approved standards of resident care in the facility on his/her tour of duty.
Overseeing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines which govern long term care.
Meeting with the nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the department's services, programs, and activities.
Performing administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary.
Participating in surveys/inspections made by authorized government agencies.
Registered Nurse: RN Supervisor Requirements :
Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Current RN registration with the New York State Board of Regents.
Head Nurse, Supervisory and/or Administrative experience.
Geriatric nursing experience .
