Actalent Project Manager in Saugerties, New York

Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee projects and manage customer relationships, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products for both domestic and international clients. This role requires tracking and reporting schedule and budget information and addressing any instances where a project may not meet profit expectations. Additionally, you will conduct pre and post-project analyses, provide feedback on lessons learned, and collaborate with process owners to develop and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project’s objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them.

  • Create a project environment that enables peak performance by project team members.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.

  • Develop project plans, monitor and track progress.

  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.

  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and ensure resources are available.

  • Coach project team members, clarify assignments and deliverables, and review the quality of work.

  • Proactively identify and manage changes to scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess and amend project requirements, budget, and timeline.

  • Support project managers and projects managed by colleagues, and assist in various improvement initiatives.

  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.

  • Minimum of 3 years working in project engineering or management.

  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems with a solid understanding of manufacturing, bills of materials, and supply chain operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Ability to read blueprints and experience with CAD.

  • Strong project management methodologies and leadership skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical engineering and project coordination.

  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite position located in Saugerties, NY. The role follows a 1st shift schedule with a business casual dress code. Benefits include accrued sick time, accrued vacation time (1 week), and 6 paid holidays. The role directly supports a growing industry in medical device manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08
