Quality Control Inspector

Pay: $22-$25 (dependent on experience)

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Location: Saugerties, NY

Job Description: Gr owing manufacturing company; designs and manufactures machinery

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing dimensional, visual, electrical, and mechanical inspection using standard documentation and procedures. This role will be part of the manufacturing team and reporting to the QC final test manager. Demonstrate best practice approach in the areas of safety, quality, timeliness of delivery, and efficiency.

• Demonstrate abilities to inspect parts using calibrated measuring instruments and gauges

• Document and process non-conformances using the procedures set forth in the company QMS

• Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments

• Inspect flat pattern programs

• Inspect incoming parts/materials

• Properly identify, document, and process conforming and non-conforming material

• Comply with quality work rules and regulations

• Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts

• Maintain an active role in internal continuous improvements

• Adhere to the Quality Control procedures and policies

• Follow any safety regulations necessary and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

• Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures
