Job Title: Quality Control Microbiology Lab TechJob Description

The Lab Tech will perform all functions within the QC Micro Lab, which operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm. Responsibilities include preparation, environmental swabbing for pathogens, internal quality auditing of the facility, and analytical and microbiological testing. Testing methods align with traditional BAM or AOAC approved methods, and tasks also include the calibration of lab equipment.

Hard Skills

• Microbiology

• Analytical testing (Moisture, Fat, pH, Salt, Titratable Acidity)

• Microbiological testing (Standard Plate Count, Yeast and Mold, Coliform, E.coli, Staphylococcus, Listeria, Salmonella)

• Ability to stand for a majority of the day
