Position Summary: Perform as part of a team during the set-up and assembly process of roof and floor truss fabrication. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Participate in a synergistic team environment, favorable for achieving company goals and expectations. 2. Assist in lay-out and set-up process as directed by the Production Team Leader. 3. Gather connector plates according to provided pick list and lay out proper quantities by respective joints. 4. Align components according to specifications given on shop drawings, ensuring components fit properly and lumber quality meets company and TPI (Truss Plate Institute) and WTCA (Wood Truss Council of America) guidelines. 5. Install connector plates according to given specifications. Including plate direction and location.
