ManpowerGroup Administrative Assistant in Savage, Minnesota

Administrative Assistant – Savage

Hours: 8am-4:30pm, M-F

Pay Range: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Temp-to-hire

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the office, ensuring that administrative processes run smoothly.

  • Provide support to staff and management, including handling correspondence, preparing documents, and scheduling meetings.

  • Manage communication channels, such as phone calls and emails.

  • Maintain filing systems and ensure the proper retention, protection, and disposal of records.

  • Manage data entry and other record-keeping tasks.

  • Oversee operational supplies to ensure resources are available when needed.

  • Establish and implement office policies and procedures to maintain order and efficiency.

  • Review and update office policies as necessary to reflect changing needs.

  • Coordinate with management for office maintenance and repairs.

  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

  • Provide regular office operations reports to management and identify areas for improvement.

Desired skills and abilities:

  • High school diploma / GED required; 2 year degree or higher is preferred.

  • 2+ years previous experience in an administrative role.

  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

  • Previous experience with sales reporting platforms is a plus.

  • Be very organized, ability to multitask a variety of responsibilities and meet deadlines.

  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and customer focus.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
