Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will validate electrical components, circuits, and systems, ensuring they meet design requirements. You will also develop and execute test cases for embedded and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, conduct software integration testing, and collaborate with test technicians to utilize specialized equipment accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Validate electrical components, circuits, and systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to design requirements.

  • Validate embedded and IoT devices to ensure proper functionality and adherence to design requirements.

  • Develop and execute test cases to assess the functionality and performance of embedded software components.

  • Conduct software integration testing to verify interactions between hardware and software.

  • Collaborate with test technicians to utilize specialized equipment and instrumentation to execute tests accurately and efficiently.

  • Design and develop specialized test fixtures to facilitate accurate and repeatable testing, ensuring fixtures adhere to industry standards and best practices.

  • Assist in the selection and procurement of specialized lab equipment.

  • Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Analyze test data to identify trends, deviations, and potential areas for improvement.

  • Generate detailed test reports, summarizing findings and recommendations for further development.

Essential Skills

  • Electrical engineering expertise.

  • 3-10 years of Experience in hardware testing.

  • Proficiency in software testing.

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded systems and IoT devices.

  • Ability to develop and execute test cases.

  • Skilled in software integration testing.

  • Experience in designing and developing test fixtures.

  • Proficiency in selecting and maintaining lab equipment.

Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by a start-up mentality and atmosphere, where we are in the process of staffing up the program. We are looking for someone who can be hands-on, work with ambiguity, and thrive without a huge support team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00
