Description

We are offering a short-term part time opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the south metro. This role involves account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management within the medical technology industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of the account reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Performing balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records

• Management of bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly

• Handling general ledger tasks, including the preparation and posting of journal entries

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions and data analysis

• Ensuring timely completion of month-end close activities

• Managing wire transfer operations and ensuring compliance with internal policies

• Utilization of QuickBooks for various accounting and financial reporting tasks.

Requirements • Must possess a strong understanding of account reconciliation

• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation is required

• Experience with bank reconciliations is essential

• Must be well-versed in general ledger maintenance and management

• Ability to prepare and maintain journal entries is necessary

• Must have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures is required

• Experience with wire transfers is a plus

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desired

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary

• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required

• Must have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
