Heavy Equipment Forklift Operator

People Ready is hiring a Heavy Equipment Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will have experience running a 30,000 lb forklift as they will be moving steel beams and steel coils. Looking to fill a couple open spots on the Ports & Terminals Travel team.  Travel Pay, Per Diem and daily pay in association.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $25 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Heavy Equipment Forklift Operator :

• Loading and unloading various materials

• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates as needed

• Moving Steel beams and coils to yard jockey trucks 

• Checking loads are secure

• Stacking empty pallets

• Unloading vessels in a timely manner

Shift Timings: All Available

Job requirements:

• Discernment for safety

• Heavy Equipment experience

• Strong work ethic and positive mindset

• Able to occasionally lift and move more than 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time

• Associates must be able to transfer to additional task as assigned. As assignment will be unloading vessel in a timely manner
