ManpowerGroup Plumber Supervisor in Savannah, Georgia
Our client in local/city government is seeking a Plumbing Inspector to join their team. As a Plumbing Inspector, you will be part of the Development Services department. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of plumbing experience, knowledge of plumbing and fuel gas codes, and knowledge of state licensing laws, city ordinances, the energy code, and NFPA and ASHRAE standards.

Location: Savannah, GA
Pay Range: $23.85 per hour
What’s the Job?
Review plans for plumbing systems to ensure code compliance.
Receive applications and issue plumbing permits; schedule inspections
Maintain permit and contractor files in electronic and hard copy formats
Make inspections to determine conformance with laws, ordinances, and codes; check excavations, backfill, soil conditions, and plumbing systems
Inform and meet with owners, contractors, designers, and other city departments concerning plumbing code violations
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus additional vocational training required in drafting, design technology or plumbing
Three (3) years of journey level plumbing or plumbing construction foreman experience
Master Plumber Unrestricted License with the State of Georgia within twelve (12) months from employment date
ICC Commercial and Residential Plumbing Inspector certification within twelve (12) months from employment date
Valid state driver's license & an acceptable driving history
