Roll Clamp Operator

PeopleReady of Savannah, GA is now hiring Roll Clamp Operators. As a Roll Clamp Operator you will operate the industrial forklift/roll-clamp to move materials in the warehouse and/or to load and unload truck trailers or shipping containers. Responsible for daily inspection of the lift for general maintenance and repairs. Responsible for following all required safety regulations while operating the forklift/roll-clamp.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Roll Clamp Operator:

• Load and unload materials off or onto pallets, platforms, skids, racking or trailers

• Will operate the industrial forklift/roll-clamp to move materials in the warehouse and/or to load and unload truck trailers or shipping containers.

• Responsible for daily inspection of the lift for general maintenance and repairs.

• Responsible for following all required safety regulations while operating the forklift/roll-clamp.

• May be done manually or with different types of lifting devices (forklift, clamp truck, hand truck, aerial lift, etc.).

Available shifts:

 Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends

Job requirements:

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and assignments at one time and be able to work independently.

• Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion and sound judgment.

• Understands they are a representative of the employer.

• Required to perform all other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

• Background check and Drug test required
