Job Title: Training Program Manager

Job Description

  • Design and establish a comprehensive training program tailored to meet shop-specific needs.

  • Collaborate with HR to develop consistent training policies and procedures.

  • Introduce and integrate innovative training methods such as digital learning platforms, virtual reality, gamification, and on-the-job coaching.

  • Plan and execute the rollout of training programs, ensuring alignment with operational schedules.

  • Build and maintain a training calendar to ensure timely and relevant training for all employees.

  • Manage resources including budgets, training facilities, and tools to support program success.

  • Work closely with shop managers, supervisors, and HR teams to assess skill gaps and prioritize training needs.

  • Engage with external consultants and training providers to bring best practices and industry-leading content into the organization.

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of training programs.

  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine and enhance training effectiveness.

  • Regularly report progress and outcomes to leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate training records, ensuring audit readiness.

  • Utilize and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support training delivery, tracking, and reporting.

  • Explore and recommend innovative technologies and tools to enhance training efficiency and engagement.

  • Create and promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

  • Establish mentoring and cross-training programs to foster knowledge sharing and employee growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development, Instructional learning & design, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and managing training programs, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

  • Proven success in building training programs from the ground up and introducing innovative training methods

  • Ability and willingness to travel between manufacturing shops as needed

Work Environment

This position is based in Savannah, GA and is completely on-site. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Travel to workshops will be required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00
