Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual for an entry-level Forklift Operator position. This role involves learning and mastering procedural operations of Magnesium Manufacturing. You will work on your feet for 8 hours per day and walk up to a mile per day, with duties performed in both indoor and outdoor areas. Daily responsibilities include safely operating a forklift for material management, overseeing operations from the control room, following procedures for building start-up and shut down per run, monitoring levels and processes, manually loading material for runs, performing general labor duties, staging and rolling drums, performing density testing on the finished product, and collaborating with supervision on daily structure and plan.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
The work environment involves rotating 1st and 2nd shifts. You will know a week in advance which shift you are on. The 1st shift is from 7:00AM-3:00PM and the 2nd shift is from 3:00PM-11:00PM. This is a magnesium processing and manufacturing facility with work performed indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work mainly involves labor and forklift operations, while indoor work consists of control room operations and run preparations. Note that this is a non-climate-controlled environment except for the control room.
