Adecco US, Inc. Electrical Projects Engineer in Schaumburg, Illinois
We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to manage the design, implementation, and commissioning of systems during capital projects, provide oversight of NEC throughout the facility, and work closely with maintenance and production ensuring systems are operating at peak performance. This position offers a salary of $120-135K annually along with bonus eligibility, 401K plan, medical, dental, prescription, life, and disability insurance.
Specifically, this position will:
Ensure reliability and optimal performance of electrical and process control hardware and software operation
Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, Production, and management to provide support and expertise for the execution of capital investment projects
Manage all technical aspects of the plant’s electrical power distribution for individual loads
Validate designs and manage power distribution systems, motor control centers, control panels, human machine interface (HMI), instrumentation, system integration, FAS architecture and commissioning and start up.
Ensure URS (user requirement specifications) and FDS (functional design specifications) are completed and accurate for all related projects.
Participate in the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and validate electricity and automation requirements.
Participate in Commissioning, Qualification, Validation (CQV)
Supervise the Project Electrical Construction, providing updated drawings of electrical systems as needed.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, or closely related field
At minimum, 5 years of related work experience in Electrical/Automation design, commissioning, and oversight of capital projects in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with PLC Programming, particularly with Rockwell Automation systems.
Knowledge of process instrumentation, experience with P&IDs and process automation.
Knowledge of medium voltage and electrical power distribution systems.
Knowledge of Combustible Dust environments.
Experience navigating through electrical codes, particularly NFPA (NEC) and local regulations.
Experience with AutoCad and SAP and strong Project Management Skills

Pay Details: $12,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
