Responsible for medium-sized sales territories.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Wind Energy Professional with a strong engineering background and an MBA to join our 2-year leadership training program. This individual will have the unique opportunity to gain comprehensive business experience across various functions within our organization, including product management, strategy, commercial operations, supply chain, services, and engineering. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in wind energy and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects.

Key Responsibilities (depending on the rotation):

  • Product Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new wind energy products, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals.

  • Strategy Development: Participate in the development of strategic plans, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and business growth initiatives.

  • Commercial Operations: Support the execution of commercial strategies, including sales and marketing initiatives, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

  • Supply Chain Management: Work closely with supply chain teams to optimize procurement processes, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of components and materials.

  • Services and Support: Contribute to the development and delivery of services and support programs for our customers, including maintenance, repair, and technical support.

  • Engineering: Engage in engineering projects, including design, testing, and validation of wind energy systems, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Leadership Development: Actively participate in leadership training and development activities, including workshops, mentoring, and coaching sessions.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across all departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of business strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science and an MBA.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the wind energy industry.

  • Proven track record in leading and managing cross-functional projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage and mentor teams.

  • Familiarity with wind energy technology and industry standards.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in product management, strategy development, and commercial operations.

  • A background in supply chain management and services support.

  • A history of successful project management and team leadership in the wind energy sector.

  • Experience in international markets and cross-cultural team management.

The salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $173,400.00 USD Annual.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this role has variable compensation incentive of 10% .
