DESCRIPTION OF WORK

An Assistant Property Manager (APM) assists in the management and efficient operation of a development and/or developments in accordance with the procedures of the Schuylkill County Housing Authority and federal regulations. Work by an APM involves assisting the Property Manager in performing a variety of functions related to occupancy, resident relations, property management, and maintenance.

Other duties include preparing leases, collecting rents, maintaining tenant accounts, performing annual reexaminations and required computer and paperwork, and coordinating work with maintenance personnel. Work involves functions related to social aspects of the development management and working with social agencies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family housing developments, or properties owned or administered by public housing agencies;or Two years of comparable business, industrial, or professional employment;or One (1) year as a Management Aide; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Schuylkill County.
