Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR (SYSTEMS/GPC), Position Description Number T0053000 and is part of the 109TH AW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. This is an Indefinite appointment with the possibility to convert to Permanent. Veterans' preference does not apply to this vacancy due to internal merit promotion. Responsibilities As a Procurement Coordinator (SYSTEMS/GPC), GS-1101-11, you will serve as the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program Coordinator and Procurement Systems Analyst. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1 year equivalent to at least GS-9. Must have experience, education or training program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the business or industry position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Must have experience with functions of similar data bases for purposes of data entry, preparation of reports to capture information, and be able to track deliveries on awarded contracts. Must be experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Department of the Army Regulations and local policy, and procedures relating to contract administration planning, general procurement, and management of automation and communication resources. Education If you are using Education to qualify for this position, Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. You must provide copy of Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position. Additional Information Additional Conditions of Employment: -This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
