Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role involves managing all aspects of accounts payable activities in our team. It's an interesting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and maintaining vendor details and electronic payment instructions within our banking and accounting systems

• Conducting accurate and efficient processing of invoices for approval and ensuring compliance with our internal software

• Addressing vendor inquiries and resolving outstanding invoice issues in a timely manner

• Managing financial transactions including running reports for weekly check runs and initiating manual wires and internal transfer requests in the bank system

• Conducting monthly statement reconciliations and generating timely reports for bi-monthly and weekly check runs

• Contributing to audit preparations by providing essential documentation

• Assisting with additional duties and projects as required

• Overseeing all aspects of accounts payable operations

• Processing 50-150 invoices daily and maintaining accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Demonstrated experience in Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks and managing large volumes of data

• Experience in Invoice Processing and ensuring timely payments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
