The Service Operations Department is the team that monitors the organization’s critical systems and infrastructure for issues and anomalies. Your Responsibilities

· Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise applications and virtual infrastructure and systems.

· Diagnose enterprise systems alerts, events or issues using corporate monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, and applicable cloud monitoring applications in support of our AWS environment.

· Ability to work collaboratively with ESG Analyst 2 & 3, and Site Reliability Engineer’s (SRE) to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.

· Ensure Incident management tracking and trending analysis processes are followed with the use of tools such as ServiceNow and other key escalation tools.

· Effectively report and communicate all service impacting issues to other support teams ensuring all defined SLAs are met.

· Ability to effectively communicate updates to all involved parties while taking meeting notes during all incidents.

· Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as well as participate in a 24x7 on-call onsite or offsite. Must possess a Tech Mindset, embrace challenges, change, and seek innovative solutions to problems.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

· Degree in Computer Science or technology related field, 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Knowledge of server hardware and components.

· Must have foundational knowledge of AWS, Unix and Linux administration utilities.

· Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent written and verbal skills.

· The willingness to be on call 24/7.

· A proven willingness to learn, a positive service focused attitude, an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand work environment.

· The willingness to provide coverage when necessary to support the overall function of the department.

· 1-2 years Knowledge of Incident Management, and Change Management tools/processes

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Network Operations Manager. You will have 7 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments and teams on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Enterprise Systems Analyst 1, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.

Right now, our associates in Scottsdale, AZ are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days.
