We are a reputable property management company in North Scottsdale, AZ, seeking a Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage and a background in accounting for property management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes for multiple properties using Sage software

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

• Prepare and analyze financial reports for properties

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for property operations

• Review leases and ensure accurate rent roll management

• Handle security deposit accounting and reconciliation

• Collaborate with property managers and vendors on financial matters

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Ensure compliance with property management accounting standards and regulations

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of accounting experience in property management or real estate

• Proficiency in Sage accounting software

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP

• Experience with full-cycle accounting processes

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications

This is a contract-to-hire position located in North Scottsdale, AZ. The Staff Accountant will play a vital role in our property management finance team, ensuring accurate financial management for our properties. The role is fully in-office.
