Aerotek Airport Janitor - Night Shift in Seatac, Washington

Aerotek is seeking Janitors at SEA airport. $20/hour, hiring ASAP: This is a long-term, full time role which can grow into lead, supervisor, management, and other career roles, for one of the largest facility services companies in the world.

  • The Janitor is responsible for performing the day-to-day and cleaning activities in Zone 1 of SEATAC Airport, which encompasses 3 terminals. These are the public-use areas including seating areas, bathrooms, lounges, lobbies, corridors, arrival/departure gate areas.

  • Basic responsibilities may include any combination of the following: emptying waste baskets and ashtrays; dusting, spot cleaning, care of furniture, desk tops, telephones, glass surfaces, upholstered surfaces; basic floor servicing (including buffing, sweeping, and vacuuming), cleaning of fixtures, floors, and walls; and the policing of waste in restrooms.

  • Openings on Night (9:30pm - 6:30am) shifts, expect shifts on weekends.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience

  • Must be able to take direction and understand verbal instructions and demonstrations of safety procedures and cleaning procedures.

  • Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment

  • Must be OK with walking & standing 80%+ of shift, frequent bending/crouching/reaching to clean areas under chairs and tables

  • Must be eligible for SIDA badge w compliant ID's, able to read English enough to pass the computer training modules for a badge
