Additive Applications Coordinator Position Summary:

As an Additive Applications Coordinator for Managed Services, you will be responsible for 3D printing production services for our customer(s) at the customer site. You will run and maintain all 3D printing equipment, manage print queues, manage consumables inventory, organize for efficiencies, and promote FATHOM services within the customer organization. At the customer's request, you may be asked to support the customer with other tasks and duties, though management of all 3D printing requests are the primary responsibility for the Additive Applications Coordinator, Managed Services.

Additive Applications Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer order intake to ensure efficient build orders and on-time deliveries.
  • File fixing when necessary to ensure successful 3D prints
  • Managing consumables inventory
  • Organizing 3D printing space and consumables
  • Making materials recommendations and sharing capabilities (both in-house and through FATHOM services) with customer
  • ASAP part production per customer requests
  • Manual Parts cleaning is a significant part of this role
  • Working with safety teams to ensure safety requirements being followed.
  • Collaborate with FATHOM production managers to ensure deadlines are met
  • Providing "white glove" service at the customer site

     

Additive Applications Coordinator Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree, emphasis in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Experience with Magics or other STL editors preferred
  • Experience in design for manufacturing and assembly techniques preferred
  • Experience with Product Development processes & decision-making processes
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, Rhino3D or Fusion 360 software. Any analysis tools.
  • Plastic tooling & part design a plus. Experience with other manufacturing methods a plus.
  • Understanding of engineering materials for both manufacturing and product design
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate and collaborate across teams is a must
  • Familiarity with Additive Manufacturing technologies is desired
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
