Plymouth Housing Group Administrative Assistant in Seattle, Washington

SALARY $26.44 to $30.07 per hour FIND OUT ABOUT THIS ROLE AND OUR MISSION TO CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting Plymouth Housing's mission by undertaking a diverse range of administrative tasks. This includes providing reception coverage, maintaining effective communication, and offering administrative assistance across all levels of the organization. Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we're not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING IN THIS ROLE AT PLYMOUTH HOUSING Provide excellent reception support, maintaining a welcoming and positive presence in all interactions. Ensure compliance with Plymouth policies and procedures. Handle various administrative tasks such as processing mail, organizing meetings or training sessions, arranging catering, managing office supplies, and maintaining office cleanliness. Open and close the office as per pre-approved business schedules. Offer project management support by providing updates, identifying progress barriers, and assisting in successful project completion. Manage SharePoint, including document version control and records management. Collaborate with other staff in administrative functions and serve as backup during absences. Provide support to leaders across Plymouth Housing, including scheduling, handling phone calls, preparing documents/reports, and performing administrative tasks as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or an equal combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential job functions. Minimum 2 year's experience performing administrative support. Experience with Microsoft Office. Experience supporting multiple leaders. Experience working in a non-profit setting is desired but not required. Experience working or volunteering with a diverse, low-income, or special needs population.
