Tetra Tech's Corporate Business Development Support (BDS) group assists the company's global operations in the planning and development of winning, high-quality, technically differentiated, competitive proposals to both government and commercial clients. The Corporate BDS group is highly respected within the organization and works collaboratively with operations teams in geographically dispersed locations worldwide, both remotely and on-site. We develop proposals supporting Tetra Tech's sustained growth in all of our primary markets. Within this dynamic environment, our proposal professionals are able to continually gain diversified experience and develop knowledge of multiple market sectors, clients, and service areas. Our team helps operations managers and technical experts develop best-in-class proposals while meeting client-driven deadlines in a fast-paced environment. We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, "hands on" proposal manager who will report directly to the VP of Corporate BDS. The ideal candidate has an uncompromising work ethic and experience managing complex, multi-volume, high-value ($50M+), price-competitive proposals, as well as an unwavering drive to achieve excellence. S/he will also be impeccably detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, self-disciplined, inquisitive, and both process- and product-oriented. The pay scale for this position is 100K-130K annually, based on qualifications and experience. Your Role:

  • Supporting capture planning activities including competitive assessments and win theme development
  • Facilitating capture meetings, proposal kickoffs, color-team reviews, and status meetings, including identifying and tracking action items and critical milestones
  • Analyzing solicitations and developing proposal management plans, compliance matrices, and writers' outlines that are compliant and creative
  • Identifying, communicating, and quickly adapting to evolving client requirements
  • Preparing color-team review packages and providing clear guidance to reviewers to elicit feedback focused on increasing win potential
  • Partnering with operations managers and technical leads to co-write and review proposals so that they are clear, concise, and targeted to earn the highest rating, including executive summaries, approaches, resumes, and project descriptions
  • Interviewing experts to identify and articulate value-added benefits
  • Conceptualizing clear, compelling, and impactful visuals and graphics
  • Ensuring professional, consistent layout and format of all proposal sections
  • Leading production and assembly to submit fully compliant deliverables
  • Participating in color-team reviews of proposals produced by others, offering helpful feedback and repair strategies to increase win potential
  • Documenting and sharing lessons learned to enhance company-wide best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
