Description
Advertising's Support Products & Services team is searching for a curious, detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join a multi-faceted Business Intelligence team that serves a broad variety of product, program and engineering stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
The BA is ultimately responsible for ensuring their stakeholder teams can make fast and high quality decisions by providing the right data, in the right format, at the right time and in a sustainable way.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with stakeholders to propose and implement new metrics or enhancements
• Developing reports and dashboards to provide insights into advertiser support metrics and performance
• Conducting root cause analysis on advertiser pain points and service issues
• Supporting the rollout of initiatives and technologies, including AI-driven solutions
• Assisting with maintenance and operational excellence
• Documenting current processes and workflows
About the team
The Support Products & Services (SP&S) team’s mission is to provide the right support and services at the right time to ensure advertisers can effectively grow their business through advertising. For Amazon's 1.8MM self-service advertisers, this includes providing education in their workflows and resolving issues they encounter with excellent contact center support.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience with Excel
Experience with SQL
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
