JLL Campus Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

The Campus Project Manager will own the delivery of projects across a portfolio of buildings under JLL Property Management in the Seattle area. This role will report to the Campus Director of Engineering on this account and will be responsible for budgeting, managing and executing projects such as building improvements, major repairs, cross-campus initiatives, and large-scale maintenance projects. Primary Responsibilities: Project management to include programming, budgeting, scheduling, design, bidding, permitting (as required), meetings, completion and closeout.Project examples: Elevator modernization, lighting enhancements, electric vehicle (EV) charging station install, garage grille replacement, facade restoration, campus-wide bench maintenance Campus Engineer Project Manager will work closely with Property Management (PM) Teams, and must have the ability to own projects at multiple locations simultaneously, with minimal oversight. Negotiate and award contracts; work with procurement team to develop and execute RFPs and service agreements. Manage projects within budget, maintaining monthly forecasts, accruals, and cash flow analysis. Manage contractors and vendors. Interface with PM Teams and client. Continually track and report on project statuses and financials. Develop and track schedules to ensure that delivery of projects occur on time. Seek out value engineering opportunities while maintaining the integrity of the project. Gather all documentation during and at the conclusion of the project; including drawings, permits, lien releases, warranties, and invoices in client-accepted formats. Evaluate performance of consultants, vendors and contractors. Assist in or manage conflict resolution as needed. Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation, errors and omissions, etc.) Provide appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met. Participate in client meetings to report on current and upcoming projects. Review all project-related invoices for accuracy and work with Finance Team to ensure timely payment. Assist account leadership in the establishment and refinement of best practices of standards of excellence. Any and all other duties and tasks assigned. Skills/Qualifications: Min three (3) years' experience as a senior-level building engineer or construction project manager. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and interact with executive level internal and external clients. Highly organized with the capacity to multi-task and manage multiple projects. Ability to prioritize multiple, differing needs of the business. Detail-oriented with a high-degree of accuracy in tracking and reporting. Works well with a team or independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with particular comfort in Excel. Smartsheet knowledge, a plus. Capable of quickly learning new programs and technology with minimal instruction.
