Accolade's Government Solutions Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time Autism Focused Care Coordinator. Applicant will be required to work 2 days a week in one of the closest office location (Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Houston, TX; El Paso, TX; and Plymouth Meeting, PA). If you have worked with pediatrics patients with special needs and passionate about researching and finding resources for patients/members, we have the right opportunity for you. Role Overview As an Autism Coordinator (AC) reporting to an AC Manager, you will become a trusted go-to resource for TRICARE beneficiaries enrolled in the Autism Care Demonstration (ACD). In this role, you will collaborate and oversee the assessment, planning, facilitation, and care coordination for your families. Autism Coordinators are dedicated advocates for our ACD families, you will be the first person the beneficiary interacts with as you introduce them to the ACD program. You will partner with Autism Service Navigators to identify barriers to care, finding providers, resources and available services to support them. You will help guide them through their autism journey and ensure they have all needed resources to achieve their optimal clinical outcomes. A Day in the Life • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and compliance protecting our beneficiary's information • Provide caring, effective and professional communication with our ACD families, providers and managed care support contractors via telephone, digital messaging, email and fax • Initial Outreach - Make initial calls to new beneficiaries welcoming them to the program, helping them understand and meet TRICARE and ACD Requirements, understand immediate needs • Accurate and complete documentation • Gain a holistic view of who our beneficiaries are, understand what's important to them and provide information so they can make an informed decision about their healthcare • Critical thinking and problem solving in support of our team and our beneficiaries needs • Care coordination - Interacting with a beneficiary's providers to help ensure alignment and resolve issues as they arise as well as partnering closely with the families Autism Service Navigator. • Perform searches for providers, and national and local resources requested by our beneficiaries and returning the results in a timely manner • Promote an atmosphere consistent with our Accolade culture and foster a team environment that promotes transparency, accountability, and trust • Having an open mindset, willing to accept coaching and feedback What we are looking for... • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree preferred • 3+ years of experience in customer service, call center, or comparable industry • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint) • Passionate about providing a world class beneficiary experience. • Ability to listen, talk and type all at once throu To view the full job description, <
